My Book is Now Published & Available

The upcoming book I talked about in this video series has now finally been published. It is titled Evolution of Perception Re-Explained and it is available on Amazon here . This is a 30 minute synopsis of the book that I gave at the book signing at the AMB Circle Center in Myrtle Beach, SC on April 3, 2021. And this is a series of three talks I gave there later, clarifying some points about the book.

This blog

This blog exists as a venue for people to add comments regarding the talks, including questions and criticism. You can also point out any factual errors so I can list them in Errata.

No one can be a perfect expert on the number of philosophers I mention and some mistakes and unconventional interpretations are inevitable. However, I stand by two general points. Hypostasis is at the heart of the problem in the history of thought, and the Mind Body Problem remains the hard problem of philosophy. This is irrefutable, hence any minor factual errors in a 3000 year history are moot regarding the theme of the talks.

A case in point. In 1918 the German historian and philosopher Oswald Spengler published his 1,100 page opus, The Decline of the West. Critics were quick to point out many factual errors in the book. Spengler simply fixed the errors and published a second edition. The book went on to be one of the most influential of the early 20th century. Hence I appreciate any corrections to my talks. They are irrelevant to the central points being made.
